The purpose of the following policy is to explain what personal data we collect, and how we may use it. ‘Personal data’ refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, email address, organisation name or mailing address. This Privacy Policy applies to all products, services, and websites (hereinafter: ‘Services’) offered by DLT. All references within this Privacy Policy to 'you/your' refer to the person accessing, browsing and/or making use of our Services. All references within this Privacy Policy to 'we/us/our' refer to DLT.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your account details: When you buy from us, you will need to provide personal information like name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, which is used to process payments and deliver magazines to you or your recipients. Information from third-­party partners: We may receive information about you from third parties when you gave them permission to do this. We also use a variety of services hosted by third parties that help us understand and improve the use of our Services. These services may collect (aggregated and anonymised) information and statistics about visitors and users. DLT does not accept any responsibility or liability with regard to how these third parties deal with your personal data. Additional information: We also collect additional information such as your default language, time zone and communication preferences (e.g. if you want to receive our newsletter).

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
We do not disclose or sell your personal information to third parties, except in the limited circumstances described here:
Service Providers: We engage certain trusted third parties (i.e. payment processors and delivery services) to perform functions and provide services to us. We may share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and such services. These third parties will not use your personal information for any other purposes than what we agreed upon. We request those third parties explicitly to implement adequate levels of security in order to safeguard your personal information. Shipping addresses and telephone numbers (for tracked orders only) are shared securely with our couriers, so that they can dispatch magazines. They will not use this information for any purpose other than packing and dispatching magazines Law and harm: We may disclose your personal information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request. Corporate objectives: We may disclose your personal information to protect our rights and property or in a corporate restructuring or acquisition context. If we intend to do this you will be informed in advance.

NOTIFICATION AND CORRECTION
You are entitled to know which personal information DLT holds in relation to you. If you wish to know which data we have registered about you or if you wish to change your data you can visit your account page our contact us on info@dltmedia.co.uk.

RIGHT TO OBJECT
Delete your account: (With exception to the processing of personal data as necessary for the performance of a contract between a customer and DLT). In order to stop us from collecting and using your personal data you can delete your account. Please contact our Customer Support team to cancel and delete your account. Once your account has been deleted all your personal data will be deleted as well. We will respond to any appropriate request to delete your personal information within the time period specified by law (if applicable) or without excessive delay. Once your identity has been verified by us we will promptly fulfill requests to delete personal data; unless the request is technically not feasible or such data is required to be retained by law (in which case we will block access to such data).

RETENTION PERIOD
We generally retain your data for as long as you have an account with us, or you buy our magazines, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Data that has been deleted from our servers may remain temporarily as residual copies on offsite backup media.


LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM EEA RESIDENTS 
If you reside within the European Economic Area (EEA), our processing of your personal information will be legitimised as follows: 

(i) Whenever we require your consent for the processing of your personal information such processing will be justified pursuant to Article 6(1) lit. (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). This article in the GDPR describes when processing can be done lawfully.
(ii) If the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and DLT or for taking any pre-contractual steps upon your request, such processing will be based on GDPR Article 6(1) lit. (b).. If this data is not processed, DLT will not be able to execute the contract with you.
(iii) Where the processing is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation, we will process your information on basis of GDPR Article 6(1) lit. (c), for example complying in the fields of tax law.
(iv) And where the processing is necessary for the purposes of DLT’s legitimate interests, such processing will be made in accordance with GDPR Article 6(1) lit. (f), for example to detect fraud.

Our website(s) make use of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is sent together with a website page and stored via your browser on the hard drive of your computer, tablet or phone. Google Analytics: We implemented certain Google Analytics features on our website that support Display Advertising, including re-targeting. You are able to opt-­out of certain types of Google Analytics tracking by downloading the Google Analytics opt-­out browser add-­on. SAFETY OF CHILDREN
Our Services are not intended for and may not permissibly be used by individuals under the age of 16. DLT does not knowingly collect personally identifiable data from persons under the age of 16. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal data from such a person, we may delete this information without notice.
